In lane, look to push for level 2 early. This is massively important in any game with any duo.
I looked exclusively at the laning phase this game, since that’s the most fundamental part of your support game. If you can polish your lane phase, it changes the tone of the entire game.
In this game, there really weren’t many opportunities to effectively roam that I was able to see. You ran up and established a bit of vision when you could, but since Ziggs is pushed most of the time and since Jinx and Leona exert a lot of kill and lane pressure, there wasn’t a lot of great opportunities to leave lane.
In lane, look to push for level 2 early. This is massively important in any game with any duo. Get to level 2 first if at all possible. If you sense that you aren’t going to be able to do that, immediately switch tactics to playing defensively so the enemy duo isn’t able to punish you when they hit 2.
Be careful about blowing your abilities just because you see an opportunity to land something. Try to only fire out a hook (or flay or whatever) when it has a high chance of landing, and when you’ll be able to do something meaningful after it lands. I point out a couple of times when you don’t do that, and it ends up biting you a bit.
You do a number of really good things in lane – you’re looking to exert pressure, you’re looking to set up plays and protect your carry, and you play one particular 2v2 fight extremely well. I’d love to see another one of your games once you’ve had a chance to work on the things I point out in the video.
